Leaving for America almost two weeks ago was a fun experience... first off, I used the Korean bus service, "Airport Limo" (11,000 won = $8) and second I met an Asiana Airlines employee on the ride.For the past 10 years, Mr. Yoon commutes from his home in East Dongducheon to his office in Osaka, Japan. I happened to catch him going to work on a Tuesday. Since I speak no Korean and he spoke little English, we chatted in Japanese and did quite well.
As our bus picked up folks in Yangju and Uijeongbu before hitting the By-Pass Highway to Incheon, Yoon and I "hanashi'ed" about family, sports and work. Mentioning I was a Boeing guy and Asiana's international routes are flown primarily by Boeing models made us both happy!
