EFMB on the DMZ...

AMEDD soldiers from the Pacific Region--Hawaii, Japan, Guam, Korea--head into train-up week on 25 April. Here's 3rd Platoon, in their Warrior Base digs. We are 39 strong!

We have 5 days of instruction on the combat lanes...

And one more on the land navigation course...both day and night time.

Each evening, we have subject matter review with the cadre...

One rest/study day and then test-up week begins with the written exam...

Each day, we are examined on the lanes... here is the aftermath of CLT-2. It's a go!

Days pass and numbers diminish. We spread our belongings onto empty bunks...

The final day, we ruck 35 pounds over 12 miles. There's a 3 hour requirement to achieve EFMB status...

From 3rd Platoon, 8 survive. Here we are with our platoon sergeant, SSG Hicks...

As a whole, 20 out of 148 candidates from 4 platoons will finish and take the badge home...

On graduation day, we are pinned by 8th Army Commander, LTG John D. Johnson...

Here is the 121st Hospital Training Staff posing with 121st EFMB Class of 2011...
