Quiet Breathing...

A thing of beauty is a joy forever:
Its loveliness increases; it will never
Pass into nothingness; but still will keep
A bower quiet for us, and a sleep
Full of sweet dreams, and health, and quiet breathing.

Where Have All The OS Books Gone...

I purchased OMFS Secrets last year. It was recommended reading and my book went missing for two months...

"Dear Postal Customer, The enclosed was found loose in the mail at this office and cannot be associated with any empty envelope or wrapper. We are unable to determine the cause or the location of the original entry into the mail stream. Please accept our apology."

Where have all the OS books gone... long time passin'
Where have all the OS books gone... long time ago
Where have all the OS books gone?
Gone to USPS graveyards, everyone.
When will they ever learn.
When will they ever learn.

The Annual Christmas Ball...

To 65th Med's holiday shindig at the JW Marriott in Gangnam...

This reminds me of our Christmas tours in downtown Seattle...

An evening of speeches, alcohol-free toasts, entertainment (Korean girl trio playing classical music called "Violettes"), food, and photo ops for vets, physicians, nurses, dentists, lab techs, dietitians, pt/ot's, optometrists, behavior health folks and their staff...

One More Win...

Our UW Huskies leave Memorial Stadium with a road win over Cal and a slim hope of bowl eligibility...

The Paus, Stanback, and Locker years have been lean ones but a win next week at Martin Stadium would be icing on the cake...

As Bob Rondeau says, "It's a great day to be a Washington Husky!"

The Road to Tacoma...

#2 Capital Cougars roll into town for the State 3A semifinals against the #1 Kamiakin Braves...

Great match-up: Both teams 12-0, averaging 40 points a game while giving up only 10. If Kamiakin D can slow Tyler Sundberg (2,475 yards, 29 TD) and Mother Nature cooperates...

The Braves will be one step closer to facing 3-peating powerhouse, Bellevue for a WIAA state title...

I'll be watching all the action here!
