Where do 8,000 young men go for a good time around Tongducheon? If they're from Camp Casey they seem to find themselves in the "Ville"--a small area just west of the Bosan Train Station. The Ville is home to several restaurants and shops but its main source of income are the night clubs.All of three city blocks, the TDC Ville contains some 53 clubs, better known as "juicy bars." Once the mainstay of Korean hostesses, the "juicy girls," or simply, "juicies" of nowadays are primarily Filipina women. GIs looking for company get things going with fruit juice drinks ($20 apiece) for their hostesses. It is not uncommon for soldiers to drop $200 to $300 in an evening... that's a lot of juice and these girls must need to pee, right?
Now I get it... that's why we see so many Filipina women pushing strollers around base!
