executed in Baghdad yesterday. Ba'athist extremists responded by detonating 3
VBIEDs outside the Green Zone killing 37 people, none American.

Sentenced to die by an Iraqi Court,
al-Majid was responsible for the slaughter of tens of thousands of Kurdish Iraqis and Southern Iraqi Shi'a in his campaigns of repression and genocide. He was from the old Tikrit Ba'ath Party and a ruling member of the Saddam regime.
