All-girl, tribute band... ThundHerStruck played Camp Stryker this weekend on their annual MWR tour to Iraq and Afghanistan. These five had some rock 'n roll chops... knew their AC/DC stuff and put on a pretty fun show. I left early (Just how many AC/DC songs does it take to stimulate you intellectually?) to catch the 3rd installment of HBO's House of Saddam at the Cropper DFAC. That's a made-for-TV mini series about the life and times of the late Iraqi president, Saddam Hussein.
Last month's USO tour featured a montage of celebs--Billy Ray Cyrus, (minus the famous daughter), Dave Attell, Comedy Central's Insomniac, and tennis/model, Anna Kournakova. They cancelled their Cropper appearance but made it out to the CSH.
