Foray into the Unknown...

Soon-to-be "SPC" Villar and I were guests of LTC Ladine today.  After we worked with our HVDs at Cropper, we ran up to Area IV--the Iraqi Special Operations Forces (ISOF) compound. Note the very hasty photo of the Joint US-Iraqi Operation... two flags.  This is about all I can photograph here and it's not the best angle either!

LTC Ladine is an Air Force dentist and an SOITT adviser to the ISOF medical team. Theirs is the ongoing job to establish a domestic presence in the wake of the Saddam's regime that will protect and provide security for the whole of Iraq.

We're in Area IV to take a look at their portable field equipment in hopes of setting up a "mini clinic" for our HVD patients. Here's a nice photo of a "A-DEC Portable Pac-1" being used by some US dentists on a humanitarian mission to Singapore.  Nice set-up, huh!
