The Coldest War started sixty years ago today... ROK forces pushed to Busan and the US invasion at Incheon... Seoul quickly liberated to the 38th... and the ignorant and costly push to the Yalu... 36,516 Americans lost... and the 1953 Armistice that I serve under today...

My mind's eye pauses at 11 years of 4077th programming from their tents in the village of Uijeongbu... my home in Dongducheon in Gyeonggi Province... the DMZ... and stories from Army pilot Martin Schaedlaw... all a cultural and historical reality. Will there be a peaceful reunification... in our life time?
