Iraq's Amazing Legacy...

I live in the heart of ancient Babylon. Founded by the great grandson of Noah, all that remains of the fabled city, 50 miles south of Baghdad, are walls and debris. Its fall was marked in the Old Testament by Isaiah and Jeremiah...

And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. (Isaiah 13:19)

And Babylon shall become heaps, a dwelling-place for dragons, and astonishment, and an hissing, without an inhabitant. (Jeremiah 51:37)

Babylon--home of exiled Isrealites, throne to legendary rulers and the resting place of Alexander the Great--remained a myth until the 19th century when it was uncovered by European archeologists. So, what are some of the historical and cultural artifacts of the ancient city? Let's test our Babylon IQ...
