I spent after hours on ALMS completing an online portion of the Advanced Course or "CCC." This class follows the OBLC from last summer. Both are taught at Fort Sam Houston--home to the Army Medical Department Center and School (AMEDD).One week / 10 modules / 2 hours apiece--depending on server connections = just under 21 hours. Death by PowerPoint it was not. In fact, some portions were actually insightful!
Now, on to apply for the residency portion--I would opt for the July through September class. A nine week "vacation" back in San Antonio... Riverwalk, Sea World, great cycling, McNay Art Museum, Mi Tierra and The Smokehouse sound great to me.
