No tears flowed as we flew our C-130 out of BIAP... only good times puttin' Iraq in the rear-view mirror!
We land an hour and a half later at Ali al Salem Air Base in Kuwait. An outpost in the middle of the desert...
And settle down in Tent City (12 rows of 18)... our 3 day/2 night vacation land...
There's 16 to a tent--just like scout camp... we have Military Intel, JAG and AMEDD folks in here...
Latrine, shower, and self laundry by trailer... such is the beauty of transient billeting! You know what? We're all smiling here in Ali al Salem... 'cuz we're homeward bound...
