A British couple who kissed in public last November, find themselves serving 30 days in jail and then deported from Dubai, UAE. Two weeks ago, the couple's sentence was upheld in an Emirati court of appeals.

Despite the United Arab Emirates' liberal reputation there has been a recent crack down on behavior that strays from local Islamic norm. Emirate's official tourist site states:

Men and women are advised not to wear excessively revealing clothing in public places, as a sign of respect for local culture and customs. This also applies to public beaches, where swimmers should avoid excessively revealing swimming suits.

That said, UFC 112 Invincible was hosted on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi last weekend--77 miles down the coastline from Dubai. Would ZUFFA, LLC send the UFC Octagon Girls in their boy shorts out in front of a predominantly Muslim crowd? Or will Chandella, Rachelle and Arianny wear different, more Emirati-friendly attire?
