Not to be outdone by their counterparts, Sunnis are back at it again. Target: Shi'a holy site of Masjid Ali or the Mosque of Imam Ali in Najaf in Southern Iraq.
Yesterday, Iraqi security officials thwarted the Sunni-backed, al Qaeda of Iraq's plot to bomb the shrine.
The plan, similar to 9/11 attacks, called for hijacking an airplane after it took off from Najaf airport and flying it into the golden mosque.
Security forces said they had arrested two suspects--one of the intended pilots and an airport worker. At least two airports were temporarily shut down.
All I can say is, "Right on, Iraq!"
