The 14th CSH ran in Liberty this morning in support of Breast Cancer Awareness... in the Komen For The Cure 5k. More than a run, more than a life-threatening anomaly, I came to understand that breast cancer has a name... Nancy and Melissa... a mom and sister.
So pacing hard, feeling a bit of pain and anguish--even getting outstrided by some female runners helped me reflect on lives that are important to me and to cherish the living as well as those who finished their race just short of the line...
And for my wife and daughters... through ongoing awareness & support may there be a cure one day!
