Eventually bulk was cut and the tee-base was introduced... saving materials and weight...
Eventually the straight tee saved more weight. These sections were difficult to set close together and left gaps at corners that needed filling with sandbags...
This was changed by the "ship-lap" design and narrow footprint. But it lacked the ability to follow curved outlines... not all walls run a linear path...
This lead to the beveled foot design allowing each wall to be placed in a radii... here's a 12 foot wall section here...
Sometimes larger T-Walls are needed... these at the US Embassy in Baghdad measure 20 feet...
These mini replicas were created by some thoughtful soul and sold as Iraqi momentos...
With all the design modifications, our faithful T-Wall still can be trumped... by a smart kid!
