Michael J. Judi, DMD...

Captain Michael Judi, a Castle Dale, Utah native and fellow Camp Cropper dentist, was my roommate for the past six months. A fun-loving doc, always up for a competitive game of anything, Mike was a very pleasant and personable guy. Here he is clowning around in Kuwait... at 3 am!

Our office did Palace tours or a dinner occasionally on VBC... here we are at Victory Over America Palace on Camp Slayer... Roddy and Judi catching a view and a pic. All of us at Saddam's mural...

This boy DOES NOT lack for love from home!  Oh, my... 3 care packages and a letter in 1 day! He'd go on to accumulate some 15+ boxes & parcels, turning our tiny apartment into a 7-Eleven...

This guy was so busy walking to and from the post office he got blisters... that's lookin' serious!!

CPT Judi served faithfully in the Camp Striker Branch Presidency... playing piano at our services, conducting meetings and speaking on occasion. I think I hear a ring from Salt Lake...

Mike scaled peaks in Iraq... here he is on the summit of Baghdad's highest point... the top of Radwaniyah Palace and the view of the city in the eastern evening sky...

Another climb was CPT Judi's determination to complete all Continuing Dental Education (CDE) available in Theater--study club, textbook, online course credits... some 75 total hours... basically one year of college credit!

For those of us in the clinic, Michael Judi will be remember as a no-nonsense health care provider, a devoted husband and father, and a fan of BYU sports and the Utah Jazz...

But for many folks on Camp Cropper, CPT Michael Judi will be remembered as the "Fast Eddie Felson" of the local Ping Pong Circuit... hang on to your wallets and holsters!
