Is there sexual activity in Theater? The answer is a resounding "Heck YES" and the numbers from our medical counterparts attest to it. During rounds, we learned that STDs infect some 38% of our fighting force in Iraq... second only to dental decay in DNBI, or Disease and Non-Battle Injuries.
Sadly, there's a sinister side too... sexual abuse and harassment. While there's ZERO tolerance for "blue on blue" crime, it's out there. Recently, a patient/local unit commander was required to sit on a disciplinary board for two of his soldiers--one a victim, and the other, the perpetrator.
